STAND WITH 169 YOUTH PLAINTIFFS

Our Children’s Trust stands firm in our commitment to holding governments accountable through the law and science, amplifying the voices of youth. Your support honors the 169 youth plaintiffs involved in 12 active cases across 4 countries, who are defending their constitutional rights for both present and future generations. Your contribution celebrates their voices and champions their rights. Together we will cultivate a rising tide of intergenerational support for children’s rights, climate science, and the vital role our courts play in our constitutional democracy.

Donate Today. 169 new gifts by April 30 will unlock a $40,000 challenge grant.

If you have a question or would like assistance, please contact us at development@ourchildrenstrust.org

Our Children’s Trust is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and all contributions are tax-deductible as provided by law. EIN: 27-3094382.

THE POWER OF AMBASSADORS
WE POWER FORWARD TOGETHER

Ambassadors support Our Children’s Trust and expand our reach by introducing our work to family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and classmates. Ambassadors are excited by the win in Montana, prepared to stand with youth in Hawaiʻi, and energized by making sure children’s voices are heard in courts of law, telling their stories and securing durable climate justice. Ambassadors build our influence, impact, and boost donations.

Driving lasting change with the power of communication and democracy building.

  • BENEFITS

As a sustaining donor, you’ll receive our monthly newsletter The Brief, Headline News, event series invitations, and more. At the end of each calendar year, we’ll send you a year-end tax statement with a convenient summary of your contributions during the year. Sustaining donors will receive an annual survey to drive our programming.

Your invited to launch a new series with us. As a sustaining donor you have a front row seat to meet our team with a multi-faceted curriculum to learn about Our Children’s Trust. The 2024 curriculum will focus on our three organizational goals:

    SCIENCE-POWERED SOLUTIONS

Our in-house scientist Anders Carlson, PhD—a glacial geologist and paleoclimatologist—will translate today’s research and what it means to achieve earth’s energy balance. Our deputy director, global climate litigation, Kelly Matheson will detail why science is at the center of climate litigation to secure human rights around the globe.

    YOUTH-POWERED LITIGATION

Our in-house counsel Mat dos Santos—a civil and human rights champion—will introduce climate litigation and strategy. Senior litigation attorney Andrea Rodgers—an environmental lawyer—will illuminate how the climate crisis impacts her present-day clients.

    DEMOCRACY-POWERED FUTURE

Our government affairs attorney Liz Lee will provide an overview of our campaign with policymakers on Capitol Hill and share her passion to diversify leadership within the climate movement. Our chief communications officer Erin Barnhart, PhD will engage partners in a dynamic discussion about the influence of their voices and advocacy to power our democracy.

We’ll send invitations to our sustaining donor community to save-the-dates for each year’s series event early in the calendar year.
