AVI LIPMAN

Avi joined Our Children’s Trust in 2024 and will manage the growth of our litigation practice supervising senior staff attorneys, paralegals, and a legal assistant. He will continue to develop Our Children’s Trust robust year-round law clerk program and expand our post-graduate fellowship program.  

 Avi worked at McNaul Ebel Nawrot & Helgren PLLC in Seattle for 16+ years and was a partner for 10+ years representing plaintiffs and defendants in trial and appellate litigation, appearing regularly as first-chair counsel in jury trials, motions, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations. He was a trial attorney for The Defender Association, pro bono counsel investigating mistreatment of incarcerated youth during and after Hurricane Katrina, and teaching fellow at Georgetown. He received his JD from New York University School of Law, LLM in Trial Advocacy from Georgetown University Law Center, and BA from Oberlin College.
