Davin’s passion for climate advocacy began when he was fourteen, when he co-founded a local hub of the Sunrise Movement, a national youth-led climate justice group. Over the next three years of high school, he became the Hub Coordinator and ran many sustainability-focused campaigns, working with county officials, electoral candidates, and advocacy groups. He canvassed for climate legislation, spoke at environmental forums (including the inaugural Frederick Climate Summit at Hood College), and helped lead direct demonstrations.

This past summer, he helped support and publicize the launch of the Lighthiser v. Trump lawsuit to support Our Children’s Trust on Capitol Hill. He has had environmental journalism pieces published in Slingshot Collective, Offrange, and Common Dreams. He is a writer, climate organizer, and philosophy student at St. John's College.
