Layla was the lead plaintiff in the Our Children’s Trust case, Layla H. v. Commonwealth of Virginia, for over 3.5 years. In addition to her case, she has been an active volunteer at Congress with OCT to support other related resolutions and cases multiple times. Layla is a Biomedical Researcher & Neuroscience Student at George Mason University. She is currently a Special Volunteer at the National Cancer Institute.
