Lucy is an active climate advocate, having worked with Our Children's Trust, walking the halls of Congress in support of the Juliana v. United States climate case. She has recently signed a petition with the Chesapeake Climate Action Network for clean air in Maryland. Lucy is a summer camp counselor, where she teaches waterfront skills classes and leads 3-day-long hiking excursions in the Adirondack High Peaks, with the goal of teaching stewardship and fostering a love for the outdoors in her campers. These experiences have taught her the importance of outdoor education, conservation efforts, social justice, and motivate her to respond daily to the climate crisis.
