Maha Husain is an environmental lawyer and advocate specializing in international environmental law, climate change law, and public international law. She is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Environmental and Energy Law at Georgetown University Law Center. Maha founded and leads the Climate & Environment Initiative (CEI), an independent initiative seeking to strengthen legal solutions to tackle climate change and environmental challenges with the aim of empowering local communities to use environmental law to safeguard themselves and their ecosystems more effectively.
