The Wisconsin Supreme Court will decide whether to accept the petition. Briefing in the Court of Appeals will continue in the meantime. If the Supreme Court takes the case, it will decide the appeal, skipping the Court of Appeals. If it declines to hear the case at this time, the appeal will continue in the Court of Appeals.
