June 17, 2024: Youth Plaintiffs File Petition for En Banc Rehearing

The attorneys for the youth plaintiffs filed a petition for en banc rehearing and with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and a motion to vacate the panel’s order in response to the decision granting the 7th petition for writ of mandamus. In the filings, the attorneys emphasize that youth plaintiffs were deprived of a hearing on what the Supreme Court has described as “the most potent weapon in the judicial arsenal.”
