August 18, 2026: Montana Supreme Court Rejects Chambers of Commerce Attempt to Intervene 

The Montana Supreme Court denied a petition from three Montana Chambers of Commerce seeking to overturn the district court’s decision denying their intervention in Held II. The ruling leaves in place the district court’s decision that the Chambers cannot join the case as parties at this stage, allowing the youth plaintiffs’ constitutional climate case to move forward without their intervention.
