March 17, 2026: Plaintiffs’ opposition to motion to dismiss and motion to transfer venue

Youth plaintiffs filed briefs opposing the State’s attempt to transfer their case across the state and dismiss some of their claims seeking to protect their constitutional right to a clean and healthful environment. The plaintiffs argue that the requested venue transfer would move the case far from the plaintiffs, witnesses, and the state capital where the challenged laws were enacted and where all Defendants are located.
